Shook`ar zes (good day) and welcome,

I am Lynn Strauman, the founder and Executive Director for the AGHBA. I was an electronic engineer for 20 years, self employed in a textile business for 7 years and worked in the medical field for 7years, as well.

I am the mother of two adult daughters and have 2 grandsons, ages 11 and 8.

I have owned, various breeds of horses for over 45 years and have extensive experience in the raising, and training of horses. 

I discovered and purchased, my first Gypsy Vanner Horse in 1999, shortly after the breed was introduced to America, at which time I formed the Gypsy Rose Ranch.

I currently breed these magnificent animals and have been mesmerized by their infectious personalities.

I am determined to share this wonderful breed of horse with as many people as possible, and especially with those less fortunate to have the means to purchase one of these magnificent animals.  These horses are too special to be limited to only those with the financial means to own one.

So with your help and much dedication I feel that this organization can spread the word and do good for the Gypsy Horse Breed, throughout the United States and the world, through the Camaraderie, Education and Charitable acts that are the foundation of the American Gypsy Horse Breed Association.
