The Minnesota Horse Expo was held April 25 through the 27th. The weekend was rainy, cold and even some snow, but still brought in record crowds on Friday and Saturday.

Our stalls for the AGHBA were at the entrance of the horse barn and drew crowds every minute. Kay Peterson, Melanie Kucera, and David Dunbar were on hand to answer questions and show off their horses. Kay’s Charger and Melanie’s Diva were charming and enjoyed all the attention. There were 13 Gypsy horses in total at this expo with representation in every breed parade and breed demo.

This was an excellent opportunity for the AGHBA to promote the association and we are looking forward to participating in the future. It was educational for the public to have their questions answered about the Gypsy Horse and the amount of interest shows that the breed is making an impact in the far north. There are many high quality horses in the area and very dedicated owners and breeders.
